Equity, Fairness, Justice and Inclusiveness is Needed in Lokoja/Kogi Koton-Karfe (KKF) Federal Constituency.

Governance is a frame work and representation is the responsibility, support and Inclusiveness in all ramifications. Holding constituents’ mandate (whether as the president of Federal Republic of Nigeria, a Senator of Federal Republic, a member of the House of Representatives, Executive Governor of a state, a member of the House of Assembly, the Executive Chairman of Local Government Area or a Hon. Councillor of the Ward) it is a trust reposed in those elected, and that solemn trust must not, and should never be betrayed in whether form or way.
Over the years, it had been a story of neglect of Lokoja/Kogi (Koton-Karfe) Federal Constituency in the scheme of things. The Senate position has been rotating between Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu and Yagba East/Yagba West/Mopamuro Federal Constituencies respectfully.
We from this axis believe “in brotherhood we stand”, but when it comes to dividends of democracy in terms of infrastructural development and even distribution of appointments, political career based in civil service including, but not limited to the Armed Forces, paramilitary and the Police Force, the Okun speaking areas dominates, and and their people takes all opportunities opened at the expenses of Lokoja/Kogi (KKF) Federal Constituency come 2027 citizens. This is a fact and well known recurring decimal.
This unsolicited and unnecessary neglect has deeply gone against the principle of equity, fairness, justice and inclusion in the political arena. Having considered this neglect for the past 20 years and still counting; every party involved should know that it requires fair and unbiased representation of all groups, interests and preferences of every citizen are given equal consideration in the political process, most especially and most importantly Lokoja/Kogi (KKF) Federal Constituency come 2027.
Lokoja/Kogi (Koton-Karfe) Federal Constituency cannot afford any longer to fold its hands watching to be submerged and polarised politically. Lokoja/Kogi (KKF) Federal Constituency is not a slave to other Federal Constituencies in Kogi West Senatorial District. Enough is Enough, and the time is now. We are matching towards 2027 Senatorial mandate, and some one from our clime is contesting under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA, the Executive Governor of Kogi State and our paramount leader, His Excellency, Former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello CON, God willing, InShaa Allahu.
