Some residents of Lokoja and its environs that are members of Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) have expressed their satisfaction on Distinguished Senator Tunde Ogbeha, one of the key leaders of ADC at the National level and Kogi State on the success recorded so far and the way the party is gathering momentum across the state and nigeria in general.
They expressed their satisfaction after their meeting, held in Adankolo, Lokoja the state capital, with members comprised of artisans, market women, civil servants and Okada riders.
Speaking to Confluence Times Online after their meeting, disclosed that the unveiling of ADC in the state and in some states as well as commissioning of the National Secretariats of the party in Abuja, was a clear testimony that better days are coming for the party and Nigerians as a whole.
The members highlighted that the purpose of the meeting is to fashion out ways on how to mobilise more members for the task ahead and urged Kogites and other well meaning Nigerians to join hands in order rescue this nation from this doldrums of APC led administration.
They also expressed satisfaction on the growing waves of acceptability of the party in the Northern and some Southern part of the country.
The group also reminded Kogites and Nigerians of the precarious problems facing the country interms of insecurity, starvation, unemployment, divisions across the six geo- political zones, lopsided appointments and employments in favour of one ethnic group, politicisation and factionalisation of the military, high cost of living as a result of the devilish removal of fuel subsidy, subjecting the country to one party state and alleged plan to perpetuate himself in power as being witnessed in other African countries and many more too numerous to mention, saying it calls for concern.
According to them, the time to act is now and take our into our hands as the sayings goes “the wise man hear and get wiser”.
One of the members, Alhaji Gambo Ibrahim, a businessman that deals on textile materials confided to Confluence Times Online that he travelled to Kano on a business trip to purchase textile materials at a popular Kanti Kwari market, and that on arrival in Anguwan Uku, all the Keke he boarded throughout his stay in Kano bared ADC stickers, he summoned courage to ask one of the Keke rider why ADC sticker on his Keke and not Tinubu APC, he replied angrily Allah ya Kiyaye (God for forbid) and that they voted for him because of Late Baba Buhari while some voted Atiku but they have realized their mistakes, he said 2027 will be another ball game entirely.
Ibrahim further buttressed, he asked his customer, Alhaji Shehu Ganza about the political atmosphere in Kano, on towards which direction Kano people are going politically in 2027, he vehemently said the Kano people have already made up their mind on direction to go, and even Kwankwaso cannot force them to follow his way this time, because they are aware of his alleged prostituting with Tinubu in delivering Kano for him, but time shall tell. He concluded.
Ibrahim also maintained that with all these testimonies, attested to the fact that the leadership at the National level are really at working without much noise for the ruling party to capitalize to orchestrate their evil plans, urged Kogites and Nigerians who are still sitting on the fence to come down and join ADC to liberate our country.
They cautioned the Lakpini of Lokoja, to be careful this time around as we move into another political era, the type of people he handle the mantle of leadership to in the party, as to what is happening, that those he so much trusted betrayed him after building them and uplifting their CVs decamped to APC for their selfish reasons.
Members advised the leader to embrace everybody regardless of whatever status so that the party can move forward devoid of rancour and acrimony and pray Almighty God to give him the strength to pilot the affairs of the party to success come 2027.
