Restore Grace F.M, Kogites Appeal To Proprietor.

Some cross sections of Kogites has appealed to the Proprietor of Grace 95.5 F.M, Distinguished Senator Tunde Ogbeha, to restore and put back on air the station that has been off operational for quite some times now.

Speaking to confluence Times Online, they said the station serves a crucial role in the state and beyond as such raised a lot of concern amongst listeners, most especially as a veritable tools for information dissemination in the state and around the country.

According to them, now that political activities are around the corner, the people, most especially those at the grassroots will want to be abreast of the latest happenings around the political circles.

A retired teacher, Mr Abiodun Omolewa, bared his mind to confluence Times Online, praised the proprietor of the station, Senator Ogbeha, the Lakpini of Lokoja for siting the station in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.

He said the Senator knew about these cities like Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Kano but jettisoned all these factors of location and established it in his home here in Lokoja.

The retired teacher disclosed that Kogi State is a civil servants state and no multi national organisations to patronise the station, compared to if located in these big cities mentioned earlier.

He noted that the social responsibility rendered the state by the station on daily basis deserves commendation most especially the one that says “Keep Kogi State clean, today and every day, dirty dey bring Yama Yama o, Yama yama dey kill o” so educative and informative.

Omolewa further buttressed that the establishment of the station create employment opportunity for indigenes of the state, and charged other well meaning Kogites to emulate the general’s gesture in bringing development home.

An Okada rider, Mallam Saidu Musa said he really felt the absence of Grace F.M for quite some time now, and stressed that people listened to the station because of its accurate reporting, it says, it the way it is.

He also expressed, how he missed the every morning Road Safety program, on educating road users most especially they the Okada riders, and pointed out, how he missed Odimayo’s football programs.
